Either you’re up for coaching college again or you’re not. At this point his finances are set for life, so why is an extra $1-2m going to not only change his mind but make him actually be all in with what the job entails for years to come? At his most recent school, this coach has made the NCAA Tournament 3 of the last 4 years. This coach has proven he can recruit top 25 talent. This coach has played in the NBA and has former players playing in the NBA so this coach would have that selling point for recruits and portal players.
