When the retirement was announced, there was resounding exuberance. The anticipation was building. We’ve had the wind taken out of our sails a few times since the top tier seem very unlikely… now people are grappling with this uncertainty for probably 2 more weeks or so. This search is starting to feel like being flayed alive lol

Right—but people thought that NIL and revenue sharing might change that pattern. According to what Dolson told Thamel, Dolson thought it would change the pattern. Resources was the pitch. 
 

It’s starting to feel like we and Dolson were wrong in that hope. But maybe not! Time will tell.

More than one reputable source has said that IU took a look at Beard and passed. Rabjohns, Goodman, and others.

Get over yourself dude. You didn't like what I said but that doesn't make it untrue at face value. It's not like I just made it up.

I wish I could say there was no news in this search but unfortunately we have gotten plenty and none of it seems good. Rabby and Goodman will get my Benefit of the doubt over regular posters imo. Praying for stevens but realize we are probably down the list and scrambling behind the scenes. Woodson staying for year 5 is no longer worst case scenario. Hopefully he makes a elite 8 and hangs on 1 more year of we are just going to hire a prayer

they trimmed their property back at that time but was left with the area surrounding the two houses in the yellow circles for a very long time, so one could say they had some sort of lakefront property after the lake was made lol.  They sold for some nice gains one could say over the past 10 or 15 years

Actually -- that is the worst-case scenario. 

Woodson is not a college coach. He doesn't recruit. He's lazy. He's arrogant (without being able to back it up). He was a very bad choice. 

Richie Pitino and Brad Brownell -- I have no interest in those guys. But I'd take either in a second over Woody.
