Does recruiting Cone, Green, and Johnson signify that we may be losing at least Armaan or Khristain, or potentially both?

Cone, Green, and Johnson all definitely seem to fit bills.  You've got the shooting specialist in Cone, a versatile player in Johnson who looks like he could play at the 1,2, or 3 and Green who had a hell of year at the point at Eastern Kentucky and looks like he was underrecruited.

I thought it was pretty funny when he mentioned Johnson and Green he specifically quoted only their assist numbers. Translation: "yeah I'm recruiting guys that will get me the ball."

Cone, Green, and Johnson all definitely seem to fit bills.  You've got the shooting specialist in Cone, a versatile player in Johnson who looks like he could play at the 1,2, or 3 and Green who had a hell of year at the point at Eastern Kentucky and looks like he was underrecruited.

I don’t think so. It’s more Woody allowing those guys to make their own decisions, while also continuing to fill the roster. He shouldn’t have to wait and he isn’t.

I think they are being overrecruited.  Better make their decisions quick.  Someone is going to be left without a seat.

What I meant by saying Green was underrecruited was in reference to 2020 -- that he ended up at Eastern Kentucky but should have been recruited by higher level programs.

I think it tells the guys in the portal that we want you back but the train is leaving the station on time. You are either on it or you're not.

Yeah I get it.   My meaning was there are other people ready to step in -- if you want your spot you better take it, or you're the odd man out.

To me even if lander and Franklin leave we could be alright if we bring in Johnson from Pitt and the PF from Furman Gurley.   If we lose the rest of the portal guys in Geronimo and Race then we would have to recruit a couple more guys hopefully both that can shoot.

I really want Armaan back even if we get Johnson. A backcourt rotation of Johnson, Armaan, and Stewart with Lander as a developmental guy off the bench has the potential to be pretty stacked. Then go find the best stretch 4 you can.
