Of the Minny guys Battle is the only one I'd like to see at IU. If Payne went to the portal he'd be a major get for any top program.

I think he already used his free transfer then had to get a hardship waiver last year to be immediately eligible again. Since he'd be moving farther from his family, I think he'd have a hard time getting another waiver and would likely have to sit a year if he transfers again.

I’m not sure I’d take any of the Minny players. If I took any I’d do my due diligence to ensure they’re about the right things. They have experienced a ton of losing.

Jordan Minor.  4 year player, 6'8", 240 pound PF.  Averaged 17.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks.  Shot 52%.  Poor free throw shooter (59%).

Ziggy Reid.  4 year player.  6'6", 235 pound wing.  Averaged 14.2 points and 4.1 rebounds.  Shot 45/35/78.

I like the idea of adding top players from good mid major teams. 2-3 guys like that could be what we need

That’s not surprising. There have been rumors that their coach may be taking the Holy Cross job.

Didn't travel with them and supposedly not on roster. I checked the fan boy page nothing yet. Maybe the Luke Brown archivist will jump back on the board and give us the skinny.
