His numbers in his one full year at Pitt were strong: 14.8 ppg/7.9 rpg in 30 mpg, though lots of turnovers and pretty low fg %. He's a true big that absolutely can play ball and bang down low. Coming off a knee injury and a lost season due to mental health issues. Finally, he has a pre-existing relationship with Xavier Johnson... and not a positive one. But it seems as though X has grown as a man and a leader: According to a copy of the criminal complaint levied against Hugley, Hugley and an unidentified accomplice stole a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu that had been parked on Coltart Avenue in Oakland near Pitt’s campus on July 19, 2020. Video evidence obtained by Pittsburgh Police allegedly shows Claire Green, the daughter of the vehicle’s owner, and three other individuals, including Pitt basketball players Noah Collier and Will Jeffress, exit the vehicle where Green said it was parked on Coltart Avenue on the evening on July 18, 2020. According to the complaint, Green said the individuals attended a party in Collier and Jeffress’ dorm room, along with Hugley, an unidentified friend of Hugley’s and Pitt guard Xavier Johnson. All this says is X was at a party, right? Not sure I'd call that a non-positive relationship. Joe_hoopsier 1 Quote

AKHoosier Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Putting this in the transfer portal thread because he's been in it before, feel free to move it. Would Keion Brooks Jr have helped this year's team? I have to think he wanted to come here, but Woodson said no. His numbers at 16-16 Washington: 17.7 PPG 6.7 RPG 43% FG% 28.6% 3P% Hoosier Roots, Schreckbagger and thebigweave 3 Quote

Our primary need after last season was shooting, primarily from the outside. He wouldn't have fixed that. He had roughly 22% 3P% at Kentucky. I'm not sure whose minutes he would have taken here.
