WOW...

If recruiting is Coach Woodson's weakness, we are going to be amazing next year.

I’m hoping Armaan stays and I doubt we see Race stay.  That offense isn’t cut out for players with Races skill set.  That’s not a knock on him either.

Yeah it’s a little obnoxious we’re giving him this much attention. IU basketball is way bigger than Jeff Goodman. He’s using us as a stepping stone.

Jeff has been in the business a long time and know which fan bases to poke at and when to do it.   He is friends with Fife so that shot was more a friendly shot at Fife.   Jeff and Rob started a new podcast/business which relies on clicks and traffic.   While I’m sure he hated his buddy getting canned  him and Rob have to be happy with the added traffic.   guyton is there IU guy for their IU stuff

So the thing about Race is that his play is very good in the Big Ten. And he’s already good, unlike some of the younger guys where we’re just banking on development.

BUT, with the return of TJD, Race’s return isn’t as important. And to your point, if Woodson is bringing a 4-1 type offense, Race isn’t prototypical for the offense. But still, the kid is good and if he stayed I’m sure he’d continue to be good. If he doesn’t come back, are we going to replace him with someone better?

If Race and Franky come back... Woody needs to make the dance.

I’m actually fine with Race leaving. While I love him as a player, as others have said, he doesn’t fit the 4 out 1 in offense. Guys like Geronimo and Hunter are best suited at the 4 with this offense because they’re better shooters

If they both somehow decided to stay we only have Al’s opening right?

4 spots open still since Joey doesn't technically count against the 13.

Edit: Ignore 2022-23 onwards obviously. I haven't bothered filling it in with so much in flux.

We'd have one more (so 2 total) because Brunk's won't count against the 13 (Senior taking extra COVID are excluded from limits)

No, currently 2 open scholarships. Durham's and 1 that Miller didn't use.

Edit: 3 scholarships open not counting Franklin and Thompson. I forgot about Brunk's not counting.
