I am so happy for Justin.  I was hard on him last year.  He's a completely different player this year.

Green played 29 minutes.  He was 12 minutes of terrific.  5 minutes of "what in the hell are you doing?"   And 12 minutes of spectacular.  I don't think many would disagree with that.

Making shots looks great no matter who's doing it.  Lots of kids made significant contributions and I still think defensively, we were fantastic..and that's what's set the tone for us.

Damn! According to Archie, Rob was back at practice yesterday, was looking good, then turned his ankle. ... He was likely to return this weekend, but that'll be pushed back. Poor kid can't catch a break.

Smith was outstanding as far as getting on guys when something when wrong and patting them on the back when something went right.  He's looking like a completely different player.  A very good player.

Brunk and Davis didn’t get many minutes tonight but I like that we finally have other bigs that can step in and play. I think there will be better matchups for those two as we get into Big Ten play.

Really hoping that Hunter keeps his spirits high and keeps working hard. If he can develop this year to contribute at the end that would be huge.

You didn't read this board all summer?   The kid can play.  He has ability to do even more than he's showing because his role is what it is right now.  He's going to be terrific....

I was really impressed with Anderson’s defense. He was all over FSU’s wings when they went to spin. I can’t count the number of times he stopped them cold. Great effort and huge shot.

I’ll need to watch it again, but I would say Green’s only mistakes were him trying to facilitate other players into the offense. He single handling kept us from going under when it got tight in the 2nd half. Green, Smith and Davis all get A+ in my mind.

I think Smith and Langford actually dispelled that in a twitter feed.  Laughed about the rumors that were out there.

The entire culture of the team has benefitted.

One thing I will say for sure is based on what I have seen - and it's been an almost 180* pivot - from Archie, is we seem to be moving away from players who have alternate agendas and focusing on team guys.   Kids who'll be around multiple years and want to be part of that vs. one and done or with their eyes on "next."  Indiana is building a program with staying power.  Games like tonight, with that atmosphere and that toughness against a really solidi defensive team will attract exactly what Indiana needs in order to build, get old, and stay old.
