Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Yeah, given the how highly Miller has clearly prioritized Kaufman, I find it almost impossible to believe that he would have accepted this commitment knowing that it would end things with Kaufman. WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I think we still get Kaufman,But what do I know. If we don’t get Kaufman because of this I’m not too thrilled.Otherwise it seems like a good but maybe not excellent option at the 5 for Brunks spot when he moves on.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 Good get I think. Kind of kid you expect to be around for 4 years as a role player. The kind of guy Archie needs. Never understood how Beilein or Izzo could have so many random white big dudes that could play solid minutes and we couldn’t find any. This is our chance. Popular Post IUc2016 Posted April 7, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 7, 2020 So trey kaufman didn't want to play with furst. He didn't want to play with Lander. HoosierAloha Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 Glad we got this kid. I hope TJD sticks around for his junior year though or we might be quite weak upfront for a year. I’m hoping that some of the role players step up their shooting with a talented point and a big. That could be all the difference in a good to great season. Get Kaufman too! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners From what I've seen of Duncomb, I'm impressed with his post moves for someone his age. Will need to put some more muscle on but seems to have the body type to do so. In terms of Kaufman, I'm not one for turning down quality players because you think there might be someone who is better that could take the scholarship. Our star big men have been McDonald’s All-Americans. TJD, Bryant, Vonleh, Zeller, White and Jeffries. Except for Killingsworth but he was a transfer. We just don’t have a history with these kinds of guys. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app MikeRoberts 1 Quote

Honkyman Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 Logan Dunomb is ranked about where Joey Brunk was ranked. So that is roughly the kind of player we are getting. Quote

There was a notion that Duncomb and Kaufman were very likely a few months ago. The wheels seem to be rolling this way to me. Not really sure who Baumgart is talking to, but it doesn't line up with others. Did I mention, I love Kaufman's game? Now Aminu Mohammed? I'm not too confident in that one, but i do have hopes and they aren't dashed yet. MikeRoberts 1 Quote
