AKHoosier Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Ugh it would probably be good for everyone not named Marquette if he didn't decide during the early signing period, but man I hope it doesn't go past that. It would kinda be deflating if we went from looking out for a possible commitment during his OV a few weeks ago to not signing until the spring. Quote

I have the feeling he and his family want the decision made so he can just enjoy his senior year in high school without having to deal with the recruiting noise all season long. Napleshoosier 1 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Never listen to Brian Snow. I have always believed he is a closet IU hater. He’s told me firsthand that “this isn’t the 1980s”. There are “many good programs out there.” “Nebraska has better basketball facilities than Indiana.” He’s a punk. I wouldn’t doubt that he’s down talked us to recruits. He’s a OSU blowhard. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners He does a fantastic Indiana basketball report pretty much every week. He is the most plugged in national guy to Indiana program. He isn’t the only that thinks Nebraska has better basketball facilities, plenty of other national people think they do as well. I just see him telling how it is no matter the school. I’ve seen him piss off buckeye, Xavier, Indiana, and Purdue fans all the same. I enjoy his write ups Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Fkfootball1, lillurk, woodenshoemanHoosierfan and 3 others 6 Quote

I think he wants a passive fanbase. Not one that thinks for itself and shares information amongst itself. Nobody how hard he tries it’s hard for him to tell us something that hasn’t been going around social media. Quote

IU was a dinosaur until recently and still has a ways to go. Archie had to drag the program into the 21st century. Mostly this. I’m with gradman on this one. MoyeNeeded and HoosierTrav 2 Quote

No I don't think Garcia knows yet. I think it's between IU and MU. I do think he enjoyed our visit more but the distance to MU is more appealing probably. So we'll see. Ajwhitis Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 I think it's quite obvious to say that no one knows where Dawson will go, anyone claiming they know, is likely lying. If this goes past the early signing period, I'd feel way worse about this whole recruitment. Gives more time for Minnesota and Memphis to develop relationships, and if I'm being honest, Minnesota would have a really, really good shot there. Here's how I see it,. Decides in the next couple days= Good for Marquette Decides around the 20th= Good for IU Doesn't decide soon= Good for everyone else Quote
Popular Post Stromboli Posted November 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 12, 2019 Man, I’m bullish on this one. I think it’s been IU for some time. I have no sources beyond my own bias. Which is significant, lol. I think he likes our program the best. I think there’s enough connection (Ostrom, Race, Leal and Galloway) to make it easy. I think the absence of another 4/5 in the recruiting class helps, as does the presence of older guys to handle the 5 his freshman year. None of these programs are doing that great right now, so I don’t think he’s concerned with that. And that interview by Brent Tipton just felt very pro-IU. He really didn’t seem interested in talking about the other schools. But for IU he did, listing coaches and players by name and saying it felt like home. Reports are that his parents were engaged and enjoyed themselves. Of course he may choose Marquette. He and his family have been great through the whole process and so I’m sure we’ll wish him well. ...be a lot cooler if he came here though. Let’s stack talent all over the roster. I can’t wait for us to maintain a top 10 rank through a season. Napleshoosier, mdn82, IUsafety and 9 others 12 Quote
