Uspshoosier Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Hey buddy, I'll be going with my oldest (the same you met at EYBL). We won't be in line at 12:30, though! I'll keep an eye out for you! Definitely once we get seated I will try to look you up to say hey. Looking forward to Saturday Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Stromboli and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appVery arguable!Btw, that lineup might be accurate but I highly doubt it; that is like a day at lollapalooza Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hutch89 1 Quote
BGVille Hoosierfan Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 That's going to draw an interesting crowd who mostly probably couldn't name a single player on that team and will just be there for the "concerts." Are they even planning on playing basketball at all??? That sounds awful. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mamasa 1 Quote
Chris007 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 I will be there also around 3 pm. Thankfully have bracelets to sit in a reserved section. Should be fun, can't wait to see how we do it better than last year. Hutch89 and mdn82 2 Quote
Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 28, 2018 Popular Post Posted September 28, 2018 Corey Evans summarizes big recruiting weekends. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/evans-seven-another-weekend-loaded-with-important-visits Specifically re: IU How big of a weekend is it for the Hoosiers? Not only will Saturday be the time for Hoosier Hysteria, Indiana’s version of midnight madness, but the tsunami of talent headed to Bloomington is one of the best lists of visitors that will be seen this fall. The priority guys will be Trayce Jackson-Davis and Keion Brooks, two five-star prospects and the best from the state. Jackson-Davis is nearing the end of his recruitment, and while he will visit Michigan State next weekend things look promising for the Hoosiers with the top-20 prospect. Brooks just released his final six and while MSU, Purdue, Kentucky, UNC and UCLA are the other contenders, Indiana sits in a good spot. Much of the attention will be given to the two stud seniors, but Archie Miller will also host already-committed four-star guard Armaan Franklin, and top-35 sophomores Khristian Lander and Caleb Furst. They will be joined by Trey Kaufman, Jalen Blackmon, Jaden Ivey, DJ Hughes, Pierce Thomas and Curt Hopf. mdn82, thebigweave, Justin Kotter and 10 others 13 Quote

Well when you have acting skills like Penny, do you really need to know how to coach? How the committee robbed him of an Oscar for Blue Chips...I will never understand. 8bucks Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 How Archie talks about Devonte continues to remind me how he talked about Juwan last year. I don’t remember him talking about Juwan last year. What did he say? I remember him talking a lot about Davis but cannot remember anything about JuwanSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
BGVille Hoosierfan Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 All the hype and still don't know if Penny can coach... amazing..Memphis will not live up to the hype...guaranteed. They MIGHT make the tournament this year but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. As for future years if they get the recruits it seems like they're about to get, they will stumble in the tourney when Penny has to go toe to toe with an actual X's and O's coach. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 HEADS UP FOR THOSE PLANNING TO ARRIVE EARLY: If you plan on arriving to stand in line early in the day, you will have to park in the Fee Lane parking garage. Parking lots around Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium will open at 12:30 p.m. due to the Annual Hoosiers Outrun Cancer event which takes place that morning and attracts nearly 5,000 participants. mamasa 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I spoke with our esteemed poster Class of 66 Old Fart. He has a plan for a musical lineup that'll really fire up dem' youngsters: Perry Como Anne Murray Yanni Andy WIlliams Vanilla Ice (for you hipster-hopsters) Wayne Newton However, he is worried that this lineup may be too cutting edge. ;) IUaic, mamasa, thebigweave and 3 others 3 3 Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Eight in-state recruits from the 2021 class, Anthony Leal from the 2020 class and Franklin, Keion and TJD from the 2019 class. I love that Archie is prioritizing the state. It is essential. IU has its coach Stromboli, BGVille Hoosierfan, Hoosier Roots and 2 others 5 Quote
