LamarCheeks Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Ugly win, but a win. I'm switching over to Olympics -- U.S. vs. Canada in women's pux. Go USA! pappy1865 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
Popular Post hoosierdogg Posted February 15, 2018 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2018 Five players in double figures, way too many turnovers, too many missed free throws, and how about Captain Morgan -- 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks, 4 steals, 3 assists -- how is that for a stat line? pappy1865, hoosierfan6157, thebigweave and 5 others 8 Quote

Blackmon_for_3 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 So Is it a bad thing that I care more about the officiating crew announcement more than the starting line up. It’s time the Big Ten gets some new blood. HoosierAloha, IUBBFan1970 and MemphisHoosier 3 Quote

I really, really really, really hope Morgan is back next year. On a side note.....we need to have Morgan next year. PS. did I mention we need Morgan next year? WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Good game fromMorgan and Durham. Off and on for most the others. McBob didn't do anything? I predicted a 10 point win. Game went about how I expected besides the Ticky Tack fouls for the last 10 minutes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners pappy1865 1 Quote
cappymo14 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Alright. It’s a win. I’m not really feeling good about it but, from here on out we just need to win any way we can. Great game from guys like Al Durham and Justin Smith. Really had to have someone step up in the 2nd half and that kid went big. Great job. Wow, we need a PG. Demo Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Not the prettiest win, and I don't think it was Archie's best night. But this team has really grown. Made winning plays late. No doubt in December we would have lost this one. rebelhoosier848891 1 Quote

cappymo14 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 And the analyst said it was an easy call. I replayed that three times and I didn't see it. I guess he and I have different definitions of traveling. He caught the ball and took 2 steps. Now, you can do that out of a dribble, but not off a catch. I was caught up in it too but, it’s actually really clear if you think about it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Demo 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersI will admit to not watching much NHL but, I am a big fan of the game. Question, I have noticed a few long passes across the center line and through the neutral zone. Does the NHL still have the two-line pass/offsides rule? Is its removal exclusive to Olympic hockey? I don’t remember seeing so many long bomb passes for scoring opportunities.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Some advocate the rule to be back to limit injuries. I never liked the rule but I'm a hockey player and not some sissy. bleedhoosier Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Green - welcome back to the doghouse. Such garbage passes. He was just not focused enough. Newkirk had some head scratches but handled the ball very well coming down the stretch. Apparently it's going to take more time to reel Green in. Best passes of the night came from Morgan and the Mcswain to Durham backcut. Rojo - shaky at the end but I'm not mad at him. He really hounds the best opposing guard every game. Dude is a legit defender with great body positioning most of the time. Good rebounder too. Sent from my SCH-I545 using BtownBanners mobile app pappy1865 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 We’ve all been down on Newkirk lately—but I have to give him some props because he helped us tonight. Made some big shots and plays down the stretch. Pine time can be a good motivator. Hope it has the same effect on Devonte and he explodes next game versus Iowa.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners IUBBFan1970 and ThompsonHoosier 2 Quote
