Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Quinerly leaving 'Nova - no great surprise. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 With Juwan and Fitz graduating, along with Moore, Romeo (expected), and now Forrester leaving, Archie really needs to put together an important class here. I would like to see one or two grad transfers if possible in this glass to help out from being such a young team again. JaybobHoosier Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Well, we have 3 open spots to fill with the departures of Jake, Clifton, and Romeo. Would think that Brunk and possibly Lester Q are good possibilities for 2 of them. Will be very interesting to see what else happens with what’s open.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote
cthomas Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 I try really hard to not worry about things that I have no control over. IU basketball fits neatly into that category. scoot, johnsoniu, jonz44 and 4 others 7 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 What is the best case scenario (somewhat tethered to reality) at this point? Franklin, Jackson....Brunk and Beverly? I know we're getting an OV from Quinones too. Best Case? Hurt, Brunk and a shooter...........Who really knows.BrunkWatfordLewis/Quiones/BeverlySounds like Brunk is very likely. It’s a toss up after that. I’m prepared to be underwhelmed and see what Archie can do with this roster. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app IUsafety 1 Quote

Not sure if Franklin can help right away, but if not hopefully we can finally bring in a strong grad transfer. I expect us to go that route for at least one more after Brunk Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Crimson and Cream and Chris007 2 Quote

I do think he will get some game time and be in the rotation. Any more than that is placing too much expectations on a freshman. Especially one that projects to be a 4 year guy. Kepner 1 Quote
Popular Post WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 5, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2019 We project to have 2 seniors next year (Green, Davis)2 Juniors (Smith, Durham)4 Sophs ( Anderson, Phin, Hunter, Race)2 Fresh (Franklin, TJD)Class balance wise-Brunk becomes our 3rd juniorA Frosh becomes our 3rd. A true Senior grad transfer would give us 3 Seniors and 3 recruiting spots. That semblance might be best for class balance. 8bucks Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I honestly think Brunk could play ahead of DD. I think Joey is a lot better than people realize.I tend to agree but every year when new guys are coming in we tend to over hype them. But reading through some of the articles, it seems as if Brunk had some family matters off court that contributed to his slow start. He seems to have shown a lot of promise in some games which is encouraging. If Deron can find a way to be like he was for the first 8-10 games preinjury then he was very strong. I am not expecting that either. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app mookied39, pumpfake and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote
