It's probably been discussed, but I have a hard believing that Alford (UCLA) is going to come out in this filth as well.
Associated with the Ball family not mention being on the hook for your job all these years.  Also you can't tell me that L.A. isn't a cess pool for activity like this.

Ball wasn't an Alford fan. He just likes the home team. He said he didn't care if Bobo the Clown was the coach his kids would still go to UCLA.

If so I would hope Schilling wasn't involved.

Am I the only one extremely hesistant to believe IU comes out of this unscathed? I want to believe it but at the same time I am trying not to be naive. Someone tell me why I shouldn't be worried.....anyone. I do believe Crean ran a cleaner program than a majority of "power 5" schools but I'm still skeptical.

We've had multiple people here advocate that we operate in the "gray" area of recruiting to compete at the top level. The assumption was that as long as everyone else was we might as well too. Given what seems to be happening, in retrospect, that doesn't seem like a very good idea. No doubt coaches have taken heat from their fan bases and been fired for not winning enough while trying to run a clean, honest program. Whether any of this sticks to us, I have no idea. Based on how our recruiting has been lately, I rather doubt it.

Brusier and Ed are our biggest concerns. Especially now that people have been arrested, I think a lot of exposing will occur.

Just saw on a UofL board that they are now ready to let Pitino go to make room for Brad Stevens to come take over the program.  Glad to know we're not the only delusional fanbase.

You know who we're not talking about?  Arizona.  I read an article on what they're up against, and it is BAD.  They are lucky that Louisville is here to take most of the heat, because they are the next biggest program at this point.  In their case, it looks like it was pervasive for years.  And you look at the crazy recruiting classes Sean has pulled, and yeah, this connects the dots (if you really needed them connected).

I know we're all feeling pretty secure that Archie is too new in all this to really have anything that could stick.  Just the same, his brother is right in the middle of it.  It has to affect him.

Yes, and I heard Archie mention several times that he is/was going to use Sean's "model" at Arizona here at IU because it "worked".  What do the details of that model include?!?!  I doubt we hear that reference from him or anyone moving forward.

Yeah....riiiight. It was university loyalty that sent the Ball kids to UCLA. Kinda like Jordy Hulls growing up a Hoosier.

Wait; you were kidding, right?

The stuff coming out isn’t gray area stuff though. This is far deeper and darker than small things that land you in the gray area.

After this Louisville will be lucky to get Tom Crean.

What makes Louisville so bad and the center of this story (and what their fans don't realize) is they are on probation recently. They did not assist the investigation. They made a mockery of the process. Then when the results came out they laughed and said BS. Pitino cried that he knew nothing. Then in the process of this it's on video an assistant directly referencing them being on probation. This is worse than when SMU that got the death penalty. I don't want to minimize what others did, but this is why UL is front and center. They are going to be shut down for a year I strongly believe. I wouldn't be surprised if in the house cleaning they just jump ahead of the NCAA so they don't risk multiple years.

BS has a great thing going in Boston and I'm sure he'll be there for as long as he wants. I wonder if something like this would sway him or other coaches like him back to college one day.
