I'm interested to hear Crean's comments on this. I imagine his next interview going one of two was. He'll either be very graceful and talk like it was a mutual decision or he'll say how much he loves his energy and run away.
Obviously I kid but I could easily see him holding a grudge for a bit.

He's a professional, most of the time. He'll thank Fred and IU for the opportunity and look forward to his next opportunity. He'll talk about the expectations at IU being extremely high. The usual stuff.

And we may, but I'll wager we won't endure 9 years of regret before another change is made.

I'll take that bet!

Next year may be rough, but it was likely going to be anyway. If we get at least a fundamentally sound type of basketball, there will be hope going forward.

I'm just thinking that if we get BD..and Romeo Langford's previous comments..yeah I'm getting ahead of myself. But a guy can dream :)

I think Langford would definitely be in play with BD as our coach. If the posters that have talked about him liking IU but not Crean are to be believed, then I think the chance is there for sure.

I am so glad he is gone but i am not willing to give glass credit for this. From what i am reading he wanted to keep him but his hand was forced.

I don't think this was the case but Crean was going to stay too, remember?
