Blackmons loss just allowed us to play some decent D for a couple game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Any decent coach would be able to draw up something to counter all of the injuries. Of course the injuries hurt. But this season was already a train wreck by the time OG was lost for the year... and Crean has NO answer whatsoever. This team has no discipline. If they did TB would not be trying to live at the 3-point line, Newkirk would not be the featured guard, and there would be consequences to the continuous bone-headed plays. This team is clueless because the coach is clueless. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

KingPG21 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Who else wants to be a part of JBJ's inner circle right now. There was a tweet and comments that he looks like a shell of himself during the game. I want to know how much of it was the injury, and how much of it was he is just checked out. Then Crean being the Purdue Person he was after the game calling out JBJ and Rojo for "not being team players". I really want to know I get the vibe that Rojo is checked out. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

It seems to be a theme unless the team has a few really strong leaders. So far we have two teams that seem to have that. Quote

Magnanimous Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I said this before and I'll say it again. If my son was a HS recruit, Indiana would right now be near the bottom of my list of schools I'd want him to play at. And this is coming from someone who has two degrees from IU. Katz saying we've been "crushed" by injuries is a big exaggeration, imo. We had lost 4 of our last 6 before OG went down. I don't think we're 15-11 at this point if he never gets injured, but we sucked when we did have him. Not having Hartman all year obviously hurts, but I have a hard time including him as a part of the injury excuse. We beat both Kansas and North Carolina with Hartman in street clothes. IU isn't the only team that has dealt with injuries. Other coaches just find ways to adjust to them, and many of them don't have the talent on the court that we still have after injuries. pumpfake, thebigweave and theriverpilot 3 Quote

Trish Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Andy is an IU-homer. Him and Crean are "cool". Case in point, him being invited to IU practices the past couple of years. Quote
Hoosiers High Life Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Fire tom crean now this is suppose to be a blue blood program and here we are barely 500 and like 10th in big ten probably will not win another game the rest of the year. Blame it on injuries whatever but they weren't that great before og got hurt. There is zero leadership on this team. As much talent that we have there is no way og getting hurt makes our season look like this that's just an excuse. I can't even watch them play anymore no offense no defense. Davis was schooling Michigan today and he sets him for long stretches at end of second half. I mean I don't understand where this guys head is at. No coach no leadership and no chemistry is what this season is about not injuries. We don't even deserve to play in the nit Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
