That place is a clown show.  Lots of guys who somehow believe they're important because they have 20,000 posts on a free chat board and claim to be connected.  Facts never matter with them, and they're very self important.  One in particular has a comical God complex and very thin skin.  (I would even bet he reads this and posts something here or there in relatialtion.)

I post over there occasionally, but my browser doesn't seem to like that site for some reason, so I'm usually over here. What I don't like is how you can't even make typical Purdue jokes without the Purdue fan who lives on that board getting all hot and bothered by it and other posters always having his back.

I think to this day I'm the only mod on any board to have ever banned Boiler lol. Him and iugradman going at it could be highly entertaining tho.

Mile? He does. You still dislike him after 5 years?

I hate 247's platform ! This is by far the best one. I like the members at assembly call but again a lousy platform. I don't visit any other site.

Good lord read some posts on that site for a few minutes. How much kool kool aid do you need before posting? My guess is greg doyel must run it. That guy is creans biggest rah rah groupie.

As much as I'd like to have Stevens I don't see him coming here in the near future. It's been a while but I read something about him and he mentioned that in the NBA he gets the summer off to be with his family and that coaching in college is 24/7/365 because of recruiting. With that being said he has also said very good things about IU. So in my mind I think he stays in the NBA for a while and once the kids grow up and move out he MAY consider coming back to college game

A friend brought this to my attention... it was written  in 2008 when Crean left Milwaukee for Bloomington, by a guy who claims to be "Your source for the finest third-rate analysis of college and high school basketball in (and occasionally out) of the state of Wisconsin".

As Yogi would say (not THAT Yogi) Déjà vu all over again...

I've read that before.  In hindsight it's prophetic.

Nowhere. I am just sure Glass will use the injuries as an excuse for the man once we either a) miss the dance or b) go one and done.

I will disagree. We had everyone for almost every game for the first 20. Sucks that injuries happen, but the frustration was before them.

I doubt it. Cumulative body of work doesn't cut it. Even before injuries there were unexplainable losses. This just happens to be a horrible year if injuries.

Well at least that's what I hope.

I am completely pessimistic towards IUBB any more. I can definitely see the injuries being used as an excuse.
