If Yogi is so toxic then why is Crean still starting him when he is going to get him fired?

Start Robert Johnson over him and set the tone

The issue is that Crean only sees what he wants to see, and believes what he wants/needs to believe. The truth is, Crean will (eventually) be relieved of his duties because of a history of bad coaching and lack of true progress. In the meantime, Bloomington burns while Glass fiddles.

I hate being the one to say it.. But I'll say it.

If we want Crean gone, we're going to have to keep losing. Yes yes losing is bad or whatever , but it's not going to help if the team keeps winning games, let alone if they get a solid W.

Yes it sounds terrible, but that's the only way I see him getting canned.

However, I see this team winning a couple big games, losing some bunnies, and then getting dropped in the B1G tourney like every year and we end up declining the NIT. Then after we decline the NIT, we'll end up waiting around another year for the season to start to only end up having the same stuff..

I think it doesn't matter if he wins or loses. Especially the cupcakes we play (including one of the weakest schedules in the Big Ten).

I don't know how you can think we would keep him after missing the post season again. I could see this team ending up in the second weekend and still not keeping the coach. It's one thing while there are still large groups supporting the coach, but now there simply aren't. The day Kravitz turned is the day you know there are almost no sunshine pumpers left. It's over. And I would be surprised if there was anyone left who doesn't realize it.

I think everyone reading this thread should go back to page one and start rereading!  Very interesting to see who and what has changed since it started in January 2014!

Every unit, team, or organization needs different style and technique of leadership at various times. Crean to me seems like a better fit when a maintainer is needed to keep driving an already good program forward. At this juncture however we may need more of a KITA style or builder if you will to instill or bring back Hoosier culture and pride.

BTB is a microcosm of the IU fan base, but although a small percentage, I'll venture that we're a representative sample.  I've no doubt there are still CTC supporters out there but after what we've witnessed thus far this season, they surely are dwindling in number.  I'm a relative newcomer to BTB but the transformation I'm seeing among our followers is mind numbing.  It's progressing past the point of disbelief and anger over our on (and off) court performance into a defeatist and totally apathetic attitude about our Hoosiers.   Frustration levels have escalated and we’re bickering among ourselves.  And from the comments made by our coach after the Debacle in Durham, he's living in an alternative universe.  Nationwide, IU basketball has become a laughingstock in the sports community which is an embarrassment to our entire university.  I'm still not on the terminate mid-season bandwagon, but if we lose any 1 of our next 3 and/or lose soundly to ND at the Crossroads Classic looking like the Washington Generals against the Globetrotters then I'm all in.  I believe Glass has already made the decision and the feelers have already been extended.  Nothing is going to save CTC's job because this team will be lucky to even make it into the Big Dance let alone advance beyond 1 game.  Nothing has changed from last season and in many respects this year’s performance is even worse and this team is not about to experience a sudden epiphany and start playing fundamentally sound basketball.  CTC is history; only a question of when.  Just two cents worth from a cranky Old Fart.

I wish that was a example of great defense rather than a example of the noted Binghampton offense! Come on man, if you want to make a point, try some realistic examples.

do you honestly think IU would hold Binghamton to 33 or less? I don't think so, so not sure why his point is irrelevant

I've wanted him gone ever since Cuse. The reason I see him sticking around is because Glass seems to be in love with Crean. Like I said, we will probably win a couple big games later on.

Here's something. Let's say we make the dance and lose in the first round. Does he stay because we made the dance?...
