Popular Post Feathery Posted February 23, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2017 Mile just shared that Stevens got the first call and said no. Donovan was the second call and he is interested in talking. This is the easiest decision in the history of IU basketball. Bye Tom, Hello Billy! Pay the man what he wants, pay his staff what he wants, give him the recruiting budget that he wants, buy him the house he wants, and any incentives that he wants. Give him the freakin farm man. Billy Donovan would be absolutely amazing. That is a hire that would definitely strike fear in a lot of programs. It would clearly signal that IU is taking this basketball thing seriously again The_RumMan, thebigweave, Btownclouds and 9 others 12 Quote

He isnt an insider but he knows the insiders and shares what he hears. He is spot on, a lot. He only posts things on the main board when he can verify it through multiple sources. So i have hope. Still not a done deal by any means. kottke 1 Quote

If that's true they'd better be willing to crack open the check book. Then have Crean walk to Oklahoma City and bring him back in a wheelbarrow. Alford Bailey and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote

You would be taking one for the team man. A whole month with no Emma avatar? Oh man. But I think it'd be worth it if IU got Billy Donovan Ray L. Kaetzel 1 Quote

JSHoosier Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Of course, being willing to talk doesn't mean we'd land him. IF we could? IU fans be like: Purdue/pUKe/Illinois/etc IU Hoosier41, MikeRoberts, VO5 and 3 others 6 Quote
AKHoosier Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 If he has even the slightest bit of interest, get Donovan to Bloomington NOW. Get it done, Fred. You'll go down in the history books as the AD who got Billy Donovan to IU. Quote
