  1. Glad to know he landed on his feet. Also glad to know he didn't just milk the buyout. Absolutely intend to follow his career ex post IU, and wish him a ton of success. Sincerely hope he can learn to teach his students how to play defense, and how to play offense in the half court, and how to beat a zone. Optimistically in the old dogs can learn new tricks camp. Thanks for the good times, and thanks for the memories! Nice to have a coach leave without trying to kick us all in the teeth every chance he gets now that the best times together are over. More of a man in many ways than the supposed greatest.

  2. Jeff Goodman‏Verified account @GoodmanESPN Evansville guard Ryan Taylor told ESPN he will explore other options and possibility of transferring. Led the Missouri Valley in scoring this season at 21.2 PPG. Immediately eligible as a grad transfer." Shot 42% on both overall FG's and on his 3's; 86% FT's. He's 6'6". We could do a lot worse if we're looking for a grad transfer SG.

  5. Note to rebelcc but there's others out there as well. I've noticed several unfamiliar names with posts in the last week or so and noted that several have been btb members for quite some time but just haven't posted very often. Really glad to see you people taking a more active role as posters and hope you continue. That's what makes this board so special and the best there is. Thank you.

  7. I have the Purdue game streaming on my Apple TV in class. I told my kids we wouldn't have a reading log for the next 4 weeks if Purdue loses. It's exceptional to hear 29 11 year olds rooting against Purdue.

  21. TC: “I don’t know...Pitt offered me unlimited mini waters and Diet Coke...” Georgia AD: “Tommy, did you know that Athens is sunny 380 days per year, and when it’s not, we have 13 tanning salons within walking distance? You can keep your red watch here.” TC: “Where do I sign?” Seriously though, I hope he does well. I’m so glad he’s not here anymore. He can beat UK every year, for all I care. 31. Plenty of bigs that can contribute? Davis and Morgan. Morgan can't be the lone "big" on a tourney team. He was fantastic for a big portion of the conference season. However, he can't defend the best bigs nor can he sustain that level of play over the course of a season. The wear and tear is too much for an undersized 5. 45. Do any of you guys peruse the Indiana Facebook fan pages? I ask only because the recent discussions here have centered around the “backlash” argument, which is taken as gospel on Facebook. The latest theory on this particular Facebook page says that the reason Langford has declined to commit, is not only fear of backlash but, that he would almost certainly not win the Indiana Mr. Basketball award, if he had committed elsewhere. This theory was not only well received, it was gaining ground! I normally would not be caught dead posting on this (Facebook) page as I find it to be the largest group of idiots ever assembled in one place. In this situation however, I could not help myself. I posted the information exactly as stated in the above post and found myself outnumbered by even dumber responses. I even went a step further in regard to Gary Harris, stating that he not only won the award after committing to MSU in November, but beat out Indiana commit, Yogi freakin Ferrell for the award. Admittedly, this stumped many. Fact is it was just me arguing against, well me and one other dude. The point I’m trying to get to here is that the theories on our sight may be tedious but, I assure you it can get Way, Way, Wayyyyyyyy worse. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
