A Trojans Wire article on Purdoo's new offensive coordinator. Apparently new Purdump OC Henson was the O-line coach at USC and was... okay. And that was with top 500 recruits and Riley calling the plays. Now 'okay O-line coach Henson' will be calling the plays for Puredoo. The article's headline:

"USC football receives great news as Josh Henson leaves coaching staff"

Norfolk State, an HBCU, officially names Michael Vick as head coach.

Have no idea how he'll do -- but a program that's been irrelevant for years gains a little relevance.

Should make Saturdays in the fall a little more interesting around here.

I keep almost saying, “really, Michael Vick leading and teaching young men”??? Then the line from The Office comes into my head, “hey, hey, hey….. Vick did his time.” IYKYK.

I’m sure we’ll see plenty of takes this afternoon about SMU from the SEC crowd. They’re undefeated in hypothetical matchups. But screw em. You go to a 12 team playoff to have these teams make it that wouldn’t make a 4 team playoff. Their pro-Bama arguments would have a lot more merit if we didn’t watch Alabama get boat raced by a trash Oklahoma team less than a month ago.

It is seemingly SO SIMPLE but the SEC just won’t quit.

All Alabama had to do was beat a crappy Oklahoma team but not only did they lose they lost 24-3. Three points and non-competitive.

Win and they would have been in but they lost to a sh!te team! Why is that so hard to understand?

It was self inflicted, but Bama did decide to have Nick Sheridan on their staff the entire season.

That’s a mystery to me. I was very surprised when I heard he was brought over as the OC.
