From the incomplete pass that stopped the clock on the 10 to not taking a knee. Whew. Awful game management Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk And they might have lost their top RB for the title game. There was absolutely no reason for that to happen. I just don't understand UW's final offensive series. Very strange play calls. theriverpilot 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Amazing to think that next Monday night, the Pac-12 will play its final football game. Quote

cbp4iu Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Going to be an interesting title game. Curious to see who can control the game. Quote
rcbowla Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 The whole Penix story is IU football in a nutshell.Meh...his story never ends the same at IU. I am just appreciative of the short excitement we had with Penix and DeBoer. But to think this could've been us is just not likely.Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk hoosierbgh, rayl456, Demo and 1 other 4 Quote
rcbowla Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 For the 1st time in years I'm ok with either team winning the title. Obviously I'd prefer Penix and DeBoer but I have never really hated UM. I lived there for a short stint and their fanbase was really quite humble and not at all irritating to me.Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk thebigweave and Banksyrules 2 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 BREAKING NEWS: Penix transfers to Michigan and McCarthy to Washington ahead of the title game. (OK, I'm nitpicking -- but kind of a weird way for the B1G Network to construct this graphic ...) Quote

LamarCheeks Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 BTW, don't know if this got pointed out ... In its past two games -- B1G title game and Citrus Bowl -- Iowa was outscored 81-0. How can a Power 5 college program, ranked in the Top 20 no less, go 120 minutes without scoring! If the AD hadn't stepped in and done the deed, Ferentz probably still wouldn't have fired his son as OC. Quote
Banksyrules Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 If Washington wins and then hangs a banner in their stadium next season..... does it mean it's a big ten national championship? Banksyrules 1 Quote
TTT Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Trick play and high reward high risk play calling series almost cost Washington the game…worse play calling than IU coaching staff ever due to significance of game and a solid lead at the time. Penix should have won heisman. Congratulations to him. Washington offensive line is really really really good. Washington is a great definition of a solid team at every position. Coach DeBoer greatness…more under control after win than some coaches are when their team makes a first down. DeBoer and Penix is IU foot print on the National Collegiate Football Championship…the closest thing to a National Collegiate Football Championship that IU football program has ever had. Quote
