LamarCheeks Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 Looks as if Schiano is going back to Rutgers after all ... Will be interesting to see how this works ... It seems coaching reduxes don't always work out so well: John Robinson at Southern Cal, Petrino at Lousiville, Edsall at UConn (so far). Quote

It was very impressive what he did at Rutgers his first stint there. It also occurred after Miami, Virginia Tech and BC left the conference and schools like UConn were getting to the Orange Bowl due to the void left. It’ll take him five years to get this turned around, if he can. MemphisHoosier, Hardwood83 and Alford Bailey 3 Quote
Aaron Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 I agree with what has been said that a second bite at the apple at the same school like Schiano usually does not go well. Definitely an upgrade from what Rutgers had but certainly no guarantee this works. MemphisHoosier and Alford Bailey 2 Quote

Popular Post IUc2016 Posted December 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 1, 2019 Nick Saban is the first Alabama coach to miss the College Football Playoff. I think he needs fired. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners IUsafety, mamasa, WayneFleekHoosier and 5 others 6 2 Quote
Josh Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Charlie Strong being fired at USF is good for IU imo. Those two compete for a lot of local Tampa Bay recruits. The local paper has had articles about it for a while, so the 8 win season for us and a coach firing for them makes us look even better HoosierAloha 1 Quote

Josh Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Absolutely, and no recruit is the same. Right now the rumor is they hire Wille Taggert. But the relationships built by Allen in the area are strong and getting better. Alford Bailey and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

Walking Boot of Doom Posted December 6, 2019 Posted December 6, 2019 Uh oh. DeBoer might be leaving us. Hmm I’m not sure if that would be the move. He’s OC in the B1G and I think could more easily get some bigger P5 offers next year. Anyone have a read on this? Quote

KingPG21 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Not that it really matters all that much, but the PAC 12 made it super easy for the committee to put either Oklahoma or Baylor in the slot to get destroyed by OSU Quote
