Nick Saban is complaining that teams won't schedule teams out of conference if they don't reward the SOS.

Fact:  Alabama scheduled Western Kentucky, South Florida, Wisconsin, and Mercer in the non-conference.

And he keeps babbling about their strength of schedule but two of their three losses were against crappy teams.
Their LOSSES, not just the schedule, need to be emphasis more by the commentators (thankfully the committee didn’t listen to ESPN and decided to keep Bama out).

Not sure why Penn State gets off scot-free in these guys' eyes!

Granted, they did play in the B1G title game -- but that was by virtue of tiebraker. They haven't beaten anybody. Why do they get a pass?

Them and Texas played two real opponents and lost both games.

Glad to hear Davis bring up IU in the SMU/Bama conversation because I’d be willing to bet my house that there was a decent segment of that committee that wanted to keep SMU in because of the championship game piece and Bama because of SOS and leave IU out. I don’t think IU was close to a lock here.

Nah man, they were a lock. No way in hell they would create a mess of leaving out a one loss Big Ten school in a 12 team playoff. No way in hell. Not a chance. The likely discussions with IUFB was more about hosting a game.

So damn proud of this program and staff. I knew we were going to be over 5.5 wins like Vegas predicted. But to be in the playoffs in the first year? Incredible. I've been to one game this season, couldn't make anymore due to my job and location but have watched every game.

I hope you all enjoy going to the game if you're able to in a couple weeks.

Go Hoosiers!

Yeah, no way they wanted to set that precedent. Plus, the CFP chair is Michigan AD Warde Manuel.

Cheapest tickets last night for ND hosting were $437 before fees.

They’ve tripled. I really hope no one is buying at those prices. It’s a cash grab right now.
