Cig took a big pay cut when he left Bama to become the HC at IU Pennsylvania. I’m sure many thought he was nuts but…….. Hovadipo and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote

I hate what college football has become. Guy has built that program and has a legit shot a NC.....but that is all over-shadowed by "will he choose LSU or Florida?!?" Disgusting. The fact that he could win a NC where he’s at and he’s still likely heading elsewhere is a problem of his own making. If Cig is willing to stick around no other coach has an excuse Quote
Demo Posted November 26, 2025 Posted November 26, 2025 Ok, help an old dude out. I looked at 1 Diego Pavia for the Heisman thread on Sunday and made the mistake of replying. Elon’s algo took over and now my timeline is just a tsunami of all things Vandy football. I wouldn’t even mind it all that much except that they are straight up exceptionally whiney bitche$. Actually worse than most SEC fanbases. How do I get out of this? Rico, J34, go iu bb and 2 others 5 Quote

A pretty good source said their roster cost $14M in total this year, which obviously is quite low, especially in the admittedly very competitive SEC where schools are spending $30-40M on their rosters. People say bball and even baseball eats up NIL there. Tough. I’m kinda surprised Tyson and/or Jerrah Jones aren’t helping football more. Maybe they will… Pagoda and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote

I mean, short of a Kelvin Sampson/IUBB sort of situation. They hired a total cultural misfit who was already 60. The previous 4 years they went 36-15 and won a Natty. In his time they were 34-14 and never finished top 10. They paid the dude NINETY MILLION DOLLARS to get no better and look like utter freaking buffoons at the end of it. Are you kidding me? And you knew it was never going to. At least when Woodward hired Fisher at A&M you could understand the fit. But Brian Kelly and LSU football was absurd on its face. I mean, Jesus.
