IU Basketball: Who is leaving? Who is staying?

As long as OG and Juwan stay, we will have a solid core of players with or without Troy and Bryant. 

I was stunned to read Thon Maker is entering the draft, I was hoping if we lost Bryant we had a shot at him. 

But it doesn't matter, with Deron Davis, Hartman and OG we have a decent front line. Bryant staying makes it a great front line. McSwain and Morgan give us some more talented guys in that 6-6 to 6-8 range. Morgan has shown he can play guard as well, but with some time in the weight room, he could be a force on the front line. He positions well.

We have such a quantity of guards I have no worries there. RoJo, Blackmon and Newkirk are all experienced. Gelon can hopefully fit where NZ and Roth did -- as the guy who can come off the bench and hit a few 3's.

I think our main issue is keeping injury-prone guys healthy. If we can do that and Crean is able to bring this group along as he did in 2015-16, we'll be just fine.

Bryant makes us elite. Without Bryant, it will be a struggle.

Yeah I've looked there a couple times and they've never had him listed, not sure why.

I believe this is assuming he comes back to school. If he declares, I would imagine he would be slotted somewhere in the 20's. (They have him as a top 10 pick for next years draft)

Troy better go before he drops any farther. Just seems like a no brainer for TB to come back, work on his game and land solidly in the $$ next year.

I'll take Johnson on my Lakers. Not much of a ceiling for him, but why not? I rather have Yogi though.

Hopefully TB will return and spend next season improving his draft value.  And hopefully, he won't look at JBJ's knee surgery and think what if that happens to me if I stay.

DX usually just makes assumptions regarding who will enter the draft. Him not having TB on his board suggests to me that he is either A.) Confident TB is not entering the draft, or B.) does not consider him as a top-60 draft pick this year.

I can't even describe how badly I want a front line next year of Thomas Bryant, DeRon Davis, Juwan Morgan, and O.G. to go along with hopefully a grad transfer 4/5.

That'd probably be the best frontcourt I can remember for IU in my lifetime, although I'm only 30.

We will be loaded next year if TB returns. TW doesn't really make a difference if he stays or goes. He isn't a net gain or loss, in my opinion. Can't wait

Haha exactly. Pretty hard to imagine a scenario where TB was drafted. That being said, Zimmerman, Brice Johnson, and Diamond Stone are all late first round picks according to Givony. I don't think TB necessarily deserves to be drafted above any of those guys. I would be shocked to see TB risk falling to the second round (losing millions of dollars) when another year at Indiana could move him into the lottery.
