Well... Louisville was long considered the leader....... Kansas is top 3......New Vandy is the new perceived leader......

On the coach SS front, I do recall a lot of flops in his stories/statements over the years. Not sure he is anymore reliable than any other noted insider and all of ours got the garland recruitment wrong. Take with a grain of salt

Eh he was far more accurate than most insiders and has been around since the early Scout days. I feel far more comfortable hearing things from him than almost anyone. Birdman from 2009-12 was the only other one I put up there with him from the boards I have been on.

Oh I agree but he didn’t have anything on those two. Janitor was good cause it was the athletic office not just basketball. I will say Sam and Birdman were very clear on things happening in Zeller recruitment and were ahead of the reports or other info. Plus at the time we were moving quick towards the movement. They were on top of a 3 year stretch of recruiting. Was impressive.

Just throwing it out there but Piston Honda, who is well connected, said a few months ago that someone in Romeo's camp was looking to cash in on his recruitment.   He said he heard it from a well known Indy AAU coach who has coached a lot of the 5 stars to come out of the area.  No idea if there was any validity to it just throwing it out there.

Then he would go to Kansas since drew is as pure as the driven snow.

The kids that went to puke turned down hundreds of thousands at other schools just so they could play for the big blew nation.

Izzo was only one of a few coaches that has spoken openly about the corruption. In the following years his recruiting dipped. He said only 20% of the top 20 is clean.

From all accounts Romeo is a good kid and the family is great. That doesn't mean someone isn't looking for something. Hopefully that's not the case.

Looks like Piston Honda is punchy from Little Mac because I doubt someone connected with Indiana Elite is spreading that.

I'd put my money on it being Mike Peterson that was spreading that rumor.

I feel better about our chances with Romeo after reading the Peegs chat. Apparently there are people who have Romeo’s ear that are pushing him to IU. The Vandy chatter is just speculation based on the fact they landed Garland and Shittu.

Vandy doesn't make much sense if he wants to be the guy but who knows. I have a hard time believing vandy would all of a sudden be on lots of national prime time games as well.

No clue if any of that it true or not. But one thing to remember is that a kid and his family can be of the highest caliber (not shady at all), but that doesn't mean there aren't some people around them trying to cash in without their knowledge.
