I’ll admit I had trouble thinking we would pull this out. It’s because I felt like Crean made Indiana so uncool that 5 stars didn’t want to come and that would take a while to go away.

I know that sounds silly to say, but we are talking about the decision making of 18 year old kids.  

I’m not sure if Archie makes IU cool, but at least he’s not losing points in that department.  On top of that, I think recruits are buying into his vision of the future.

The "doesn't want to deal with backlash, so he's waiting until his season is over" crowd has to latch onto something else at this point.

Read some of the IU FB pages. There are many that say that. Their are some who don't like Romeo because they waited so to decide and it handcuffed Archie getting other players. I laughed at them

To be fair, at the time I thought Crean was the right coach.  The realization he was in over his head hit like a freight train.

Anyway back to Langford, still not getting my hopes up because been there and done that.

Looks like spring signing period started yesterday... So there's the possibility they announced the April 30th date after signing his LOI.

Guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

It’s hard to say. But has to be something along these lines. Either the grad transfers were told he is coming, paperwork was signed, or Romeo is recruiting TJD or others. I mean it has to be in there somewhere for this level of certainty. Right?
