WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Homecourt such a big deal in college hoops. but this is Purdues kryptonite. Alabama shot themselves out of a chance. i think Purdue is likely still top5 B1G team due to Painter and Smith. Quote

This might be one of those years where their AP ranking sits about 8-10 spots above where the metrics say they should be. HoosierHoopster 1 Quote

Who were both pretty bad last night. Painter did him no favors. He was struggling with all that high pressure and painter insisted on that ball screens at the top which just brought an extra defender. About the worst tactic you could employ, imo. They’ll be fine in the B1G because few teams can bring that type of ball pressure although I’d love to see us try by going small. Let Ballo mop up Berg and Reneau dominate TKR. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Geez @Uspshoosier you gave us 2 teaser posts last night on the Northwestern - Montana State game and then left us hanging on who won. I had to go to the trouble of going to ESPN this morning to find out that NU won 72-69. lol Uspshoosier and thebigweave 1 1 Quote

Painter's a good coach and they have the experience to be in the 15-25 range of so, but no way are they top 6, and water is finding its level. Stuhoo 1 Quote
