Kenpom dropped them 11 spots after this game, all the way down to 23. 

 

This might be one of those years where their AP ranking sits about 8-10 spots above where the metrics say they should be.

Who were both pretty bad last night. Painter did him no favors. He was struggling with all that high pressure and painter insisted on that ball screens at the top which just brought an extra defender. About the worst tactic you could employ, imo. 
 

They’ll be fine in the B1G because few teams can bring that type of ball pressure although I’d love to see us try by going small. Let Ballo mop up Berg and Reneau dominate TKR.

Purdue is probably still a Top 15-20 team. And the Big Ten isn't good so that'll help them come conference time.

As @TheWatShot notes above, KenPom dropped PU down to 23. Painter's a good coach and they have the experience to be in the 15-25 range of so, but no way are they top 6, and water is finding its level.
