Welcome to the late night edition of the college bball thread.  Oregon finds itself in a dogfight with Hawaii - tied with 5 minutes left.

Oregon got about 15 chances and finally slopped one in to win 60 - 59.  Ugly offense all the way around.

It probably won't, but if it makes anyone feel better, it sure seemed like Ben didn't want the IU job.  And yea perhaps it's Scott's job to sell him on it, but not sure that was possible.  Also, yes, maybe Scott offered CDD first as his preferred candidate.

Anyways, it's water under the bridge now.  TBD if we add Ben to our long list of what-if hires: Coach K, Pitino, Beilein, Boy Wonder, Dusty, I can't even remember them all at this point there are so many.

I like CDD.  He wanted the IUBB job.  He's a good coach.

If we hadn't just missed out on Dusty it wouldn't sting so much.  By far one of the dumbest mistakes I've ever seen a CBB program make.  Completely inexcusable.

Even worse is the other dumbest mistakes are probably also IUBB related lol.

But hey, Woody is gone and Scott somehow turned around football, so maybe he can fix bball.  Idk.
