The thing is he *did* solve his turnover issue. That isn’t Hoovers issue. He’s inaccurate. And has been since day 1.

Inaccurate and doesn’t see the field as he doesn’t see/throw to wide open guys.

He is not elite but good/very good QB and plenty of team have won with a QB like that. Flush this loss and beat UM. We really, really, really, really need a W next week.

I can’t think of a single team that has won when their QB can’t hit wide open guys when the opponent is stacking 8 guys to stop the run.

Game managers make opposing Ds pay for selling out against the run.

Disappointing loss in a very winnable game. Defense played fantastic. The first drive was a little rough, but they really buckled down after that. Offensively a lot was left to be desired. Hoovers inaccuracy is very frustrating. But you can live with it. My biggest problem of his game is frequently not noticing guys who are completely wide open. At this level you can’t miss those reads. The stubbornness of running the ball up the middle for no gain kept creating third and longs. Whether that’s on play calling or Hoover not checking into the right play I don’t know. Jackson of Ohio state gets perhaps the most generous spots I’ve ever seen. Missing a chip shot field goal after Hoover didn’t see the tight end that didn’t have a defender within 10 yards is disappointing, but I was more disappointed in wasting a time out to send the field goal unit for a 55 yarder. It didn’t even have a chance. All isn’t lost, if they can win out they will still most certainly be in the playoffs, but a lot of things to clean up offensively.

I wish we would throw a little more early in the game to open up the run game. It seems like in the first half we're so predictable with our play calling.

Exactly.  The passing game is there, even with the bad throws.  Loosen the D up a bit and get some early scores.

Was at the game yesterday. The single best IU football atmosphere ever. One of the best times I’ve ever had at an IU sporting event.

Great game. When two top of the top teams play so many things that each team is used to doing get taken away from them.

Can’t wait to see what comes next for this IU team.

No doubt a great atmosphere.  Tough fight in the trenches.    Really is exciting to be playing against a top team and holding our own.

Just too many mistakes.  The step out on the long pass at the end of the game did not lose the game.

Don't understand the 55' FG attempt.  And some play calling.

I hope that Hoover can read receivers routes and be more accurate.  But doubt it.  That is the way it is.

Still IU has a very good team.  Proud of them and the fans.

Yardage numbers today look good for him but he was pretty awful. Marsh drifted out on the last play but if Hoover gets rid of that a just little sooner it's a TD.

Drew Evans got abused and gave Hoover no time.

Going to be a rough day in the film room for Evans, had a rough day.  Never thought that would be an issue.

If Nico hits that FG in the first half, all we need at the end is another FG. This one just flat got away from us.

He shouldn’t have even needed to attempt that field goal as Schott was so wide open he could have crawled into the end zone. We left a minimum of 14 points on the table, probably more like 21.

Let me ask this in the first half on the one that we challenged as whether or not it was a catch would you have challenged that and waste a timeout?

If it was the 2H, it would’ve been ill advised but worth a shot in the 1H
