Glenn got rocked pretty good on that play, if not for the injury he may have been in trouble himself. Seemed to stagger a little after that hit.

He's moving his arms to pat his coach and his teammates. Hopefully all that was precautionary. Don't think I've seen a guy get his pads and jersey cut off though.

Never thought I'd feel less than satisfied with a 38-0 IU football win. Yet here I am. How times have changed.

Well, in ‘93 we shut out Northwestern and MSU. This year it was Howard and W. Kentucky. lol..

Its nitpicking, but I think Cig has pretty significantly changed the standard. Still things to like:

 

- We have arguably the best WRs room in the country. I'm biased. But these dudes are cooking dudes constantly

- Our Rbs with Martin are up there too

- Our o-linehas done agood job wearing on teams this year. Be nice to start off more dominant tho

- Our D line is good, has stretches where they look great. 

- Jones and Hardy are for real. Hope Jones continues where he picked up today

- Hoover is probably more in that 6-10 range of QBs in the nation so far. Like.. again nitpicking, bar is high. 

 

Maybe things to be concerned with

- Our secondary has some rough stretches, tho Sharpe was good today. 

We're not winning first and second downs as much. Being in 3rd and 3/4 is much easier than 3rd and 6+ like we have been in more this year, 

- No one in our TE room stands out much at all so far. Have a few plays a game, but more ?????s than you probably want

- Should we be concerned about Nico????

What do you do when you win 38-0 in a very uneven performance? When you record your second consecutive shutout? When you've won your FBS-best 19th game in a row?

93 Northwestern was really bad.  2-9 overall and didn't win a conference game.

I’ll admit that it just have been my view if cig is praising the effort. Not used to being so far from the field. 
 

That was the best atmosphere I have ever seen at an IU game. Granted it’s my first during cigs tenure

He also said Marsh didn't start last week for a reason. He didn't comment further. To me at least, Cig seems different with this team than with the last two. I fully trust our coach but so far I don't see Hoover making the throws we are used to seeing.
