To be fair it was 8 in regulation.  Shane we didn’t go to OT so we could score some more. Then nobody would be worried

Cig also alluded in his post game conference that we could’ve really ran up the score in the 2nd half but it wasn’t necessary. We wanted to shorten the game and get out injury free

I agree, and Cig always respects his opponents...but it may have cost us a position in the top 25 poll, but at this point of the season it's still mostly a popularity contest!

My emotions got the best of me in the first half. Trust in Cig.

I’m part of a text group with a bunch of now-old IU buddies.

During the first half I was on this board and ignoring them because this random, anonymous message board is a million times saner than an average sampling of IU fans.

Apparently we are now so Bama/OSU-ish that anything short of complete domination from the opening whistle is a sure sign that Cig, Haines, and Shanny forgot how to evaluate and coach.

Better than an LSU and Michigan style meltdown where we just assume the coaching staff was busy stalking undergrads and couldn’t prep

I was ashamed of myself for saying, “the defense is concerning.” Like Haines won’t get this group to continuously improve. I hope more and more come to the same realizations.
