I can’t see it happening. But bringing Wilkerson and Alexis back would shore up a couple of our question marks in the best way possible. Just bringing Alexis back would be huge.

Seems dumb to try to push this through for the upcoming sports (basketball, football) year.
Since I imagine it won’t negate deals for players who’ve done more than 5 years, just add people.

I was thinking they would do more of a 5 years to do 4 to make up for red shirts and the like.  Will this negate the red shirt or take it away completely?  I can see a reason for the "legal tampering window", but I don't know how they can regulate it.

For this season? I would Wang it, for long term, probably this kid. 

Like I don't think this kid could go to the WCC and avg 9p 4r a game in 20 mins.... I mean, I'd honestly just like them both, get a guard and we're set. 

The term "4 star" just gets people, huh? lol.. this kid can't go left, which was apparently obvious in 2 minutes of film.

I wouldn't mind both. But, we are gunna need some schollies in 2026-27, too. 

If this kid put on weight, it's possible he could play the 5 (years down the road)

That’s my thinking.  We need to hope our studs stay healthy and just need a few minute breather here and there.  
 

This isn’t the old day we aren’t going to stack talent like teams did in the old days 

Look at College Football few teams have two guys at QB without question marks. Oregon might be the exception in fact.  
 

I like this kid because he seems to be a late riser and maybe we strike gold

Givan wouldn't be a terrible late add as development piece. Still doesn't solve the puzzle for a back up big for this, neither does Wang in my opinion. Sayon Keita intrigues me as well, but again, not sure what he gives us for next year. Can't run Sherrell and Samet into the ground by the end of the season. Need depth.

Probably, hopefully, nothing, but King was originally traded for on draft night by the Pacers when Carr was there. So maybe he’s a fan of the kid.

It’s still April, the Wang visit shows staff is continuing to look to add depth, don’t know who else they’re evaluating right now but based on where things are expect a depth big and possibly a wing. Worth remembering we already have a stud 2027 PG committed for that season and the current 2026 portal class has good continuing eligibility so roster building at least is well under way

I wonder if the 5 year rule will effect the criteria for medical red shirt or redshirtting period as far as that goes.
