Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 If he can at least make the trip and participate in practices would still be a real plus in familiarizing him with his new teammates and DDV's coaching philosphy. Quote

I read somewhere that the Kentucky game at Lucas Oil was ticketed as an IU home game. Does anyone know, does that mean it will be included in the season ticket package? (I'm guessing no) My season ticket renewal came in tonight - listed at $67 / game. Value proposition gets harder and harder to justify, particularly if the home non-con slate is 100% cupcakes. Quote

Would be major BS if they can’t get all SSAH STHs into Lucas Oil (and they should get prime seats), but I’m not a basketball ticket holder so I’m not sure. Quote

IU as total control of ticket distribution for the UK game at Lucas Oil so it will not be the historical 50/50 split. Not sure how many seats will be allocated to UK but there is no doubt that the game has the possibility of essentially being a home game for IU - just depends on how IU fans respond to the opportunity to buy tickets. In my opinion there is no way that this game is included in the season ticket package but season ticket holders should get first opportunity to request tickets at various price points based upon their priority point standing. Hopefully those who buy will not sell to UK fans or put them on secondary sites such as StubHub where they have no control over who buys them. Hovadipo, Home Jersey and Pagoda 3 Quote

Mine are up well over 20%. First time I've really stopped to ponder whether it's still worth it. Especially, as you note, due to the weak non-conference home slates... reconmkd, gohoosiers97 and Shooter 3 Quote
reconmkd Posted Saturday at 02:41 PM Posted Saturday at 02:41 PM Going to discuss with family today if the price hike is worth it this year! I couldn’t even give tickets away last year for the games I couldn’t attend. Quote

Home Jersey Posted Tuesday at 05:05 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:05 PM First glance gut reaction 4-3 in home only 4-3 in away only 4-2 in home & away Would be a 12-8 conference record. Could see anywhere from 10-10 to 14-6. Looking forward to seeing them in Peru. Bummer Yig won't play though Kentuckysucks 1 Quote

Just gotta figure out how to beat NW now. But NW and Maryland are about as good of a draw in the double match up as you could ask for. Plus getting the top 3 teams at home. No excuse to not go over .500 in conference play this year. Home Jersey, Stuhoo and hoosierfan6157 3 Quote

Maryland is likely going to be sneaky good this year. Especially if Payne comes back healthy. Purdue should be down, but that is top 5 hard places to win right now. Hopefully we double up on NW. for 4-2 here. We need to make home court advantage a bigger advantage. We weren’t good enough this year at home compared to what is needed. We will see. In the past 10 years we have had one season with a conference record as good as 12-8, so huge disappointment seems relative IMO. Would also depend a bit on how we do in non conference IMO. Michigan and Illinois seem likely to be favorites over us at least I'd think. Ryno6284 1 Quote

We should have gone 11-9 this season with a much less talented roster and a more difficult conference slate. 12-8 should be the absolute minimum and I expect more. Quote
