We've got to hope Rod and Ryan Carr the Roster Czar* are enough support for CDD.  Hmm...

You just have to enter the portal within those 15 days you don’t have to commit anywhere by then.

As stated, they don't have to commit within that time and there is no second semester pushing the window like football.  They have all spring to decide if necessary.  Most coaches probably want the kids there for the summer.

Occam's Razor; the most likely explanation is usually the correct one. And in this instance Occam would conclude that he's never getting game time because his family has already expressed that IU is not his future, and that Michigan would be a more attractive program than IU.

What does the mean “DD can coach”?  I mean technically I won a rec league championship with a killer triangle and 2. The prior coaches at IU “can coach”. The question is can DD coach AND build a program that is a consistent top 10 team.  Heck, there is no evidence that he can build a top 30 team. Now, there is also not enough evidence that he sucks and definitely cannot do it. But there does seem to be question about either coaching or motivating players as he himself said he was having trouble getting his team to play his offense  

even if he is a better than average coach, despite no evidence, he also has to be able to build a team   Big time questions here   Well, he has his staff in place and Dolson has admitted that the portal Kids are often locked up before the portal opens  which suggests we are reaching out too (or throwing in the towel). 
 

So you have staff, resources, a GM and seemingly a willingness to let them make early contact  if we end up with a subpar class and season there is a primary reason  DD is not the guy.  Let’s hope we get early success in the portal.  Otherwise I say you turn to someone who can turn this around fast and may only have 4-5 years left but always has success.
