Makes more sense because he also seemed to indicate that we might only need to win one more which would be a pretty generous projection for us and not anywhere close to First Four territory. Quote

Countless times this season I've found myself thinking "we might need a timeout here" and then he calls one. Such a refreshing change after seeing Mike Woodson dozing on the bench, Archie Miller looking nervous and Tom Crean clapping his hands raw. J34 and raorIU 2 Quote
Popular Post HoosierDevils Posted Tuesday at 05:06 AM Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 05:06 AM Looking ahead a bit and fully leaning into this wave of optimism, I know most feel our remaining wins are home games against NW and Minny and a potential road win against OSU. But….worse IU teams in recent memory have faced better PU teams in Mackey and come away with a W. Headed into that game, IU will have 5 days off between going to Illinois whereas Purdue between now and then have: @ Nebraska, @ Iowa, and vs Michigan. They did not look good at all against Oregon, and we could catch them in another rough stretch. I would love to see Lamar Wilkerson play as many games in an IU uniform as possible and hope we can snag another Quad 1A win to get as good a seed as possible in the NCAAT, rather than being the lowest 10 seed and drawing the toughest 7 seed and 2 seed. Imagine Wilkerson dropping 40 in March! hoosierfan6157, BGleas, HoosierHoopster and 5 others 8 Quote
Artie86 Posted Tuesday at 02:47 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:47 PM ....if your looking for growth and making comparisons, remember that Oregon only lost by 4 at Purdue. Quote

Somewhere, Jerry Palm has updated his projected NIT bracket and moved IU up into the First Four Out. Meanwhile, Purdue has already secured the #1 overall seed. Enright is another that keeps learning how to be better. His push of the ball in the second half was also huge to setting up the offense. The adjustment of inserting Connerway going forward will be so interesting in watching this team get better or take a step back. This is getting pretty fun to watch where the rest of the season plays out! Shooter, Hoosierfanyuh and Stuhoo 3 Quote
IUHoosier5 Posted Tuesday at 07:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:38 PM After the game I saw a bracketologist go through what IU’s seed line would be if they won out, and he had them at a 5/6. Personally, I was thinking 4/5. Quote

If they won out that would mean 2 road wins (NET- 4 and 10) and home win after NET 12. Those would be massive wins add in another road win at NET 39 and they would sky rocket up the seed line. They will end the year with at least a top 15 sos. If and that’s a big if they won out they would be no worse then a 5 seed and more then likely a 4. 3 seed line would be out of reach unless they went very far in the conference tourney IUHoosier5 1 Quote

And how recent it would have all been. It would also include two of them on the road. I dont really know, when talking "top 4 wins" only.. how many teams in the country would have 4 better. Quote
