How can Tucker Devries, with the work required to play at this level, carry 25 bad pounds? He looks like a guy you bring in as a ringer in a rec league that was a great DII shooter 12 years ago but hasn't left his cubicle in years.

Is he our number 1 NIL earner?

Outside of a scandal, no way an IUBB coach ever gets less than 3 years. I don't like it, just the way it is

Different world. Boosters run the show now. For some that’s a problem. Our administration is so dumb about basketball it may work in our favor. Let Cuban make the hiring decisions.

Maybe if you let Cig make the hire boosters would trust the decision

Yea.  Let him lead a hiring committee.   Just need him to interview candidates and weed out the losers.

He is the only one who can figure this out.

Iowa also brought 7 players from Drake when they got McCollum. So they are definitely ahead of the game from a continuity standpoint. But they are also 12-5 for the season, and will be 1 game ahead of us for the season. They aren’t world beaters either.

I would also say the losses they have are against the best teams in the league. I think the end of the year will demonstrate the gulf between the two teams. They aren’t world beaters certainly it but they’re successful playing their game which I wish we could say at this point in the season. I’m not sure what our game is frankly.

But it’s adapt or die in the age of NIL. I don’t think Dolson will allow the program to lose its loyal fan base. It would be a huge mistake if this continues next year and he doesn’t pivot.

I hope you are right but I’d argue that their management of the basketball program has lost a lot of our fans.  We’ve had two hires to fix it and nothing

Our game revolves around shooting. But we lack athleticism when that isn’t working. It’s a majorly flawed roster. The roster building is my concern. If that gets fixed I think we could have something. If it’s not fixed then it’s over.

You may be right, and if NIL can change our admin view for the better I am all for it. I am just hesitant to get hopes up.

Really curious what the actual attendance at our remaining home games will be. The numbers that get posted are paid attendance, not actual. If I had tickets, I'd sell them and not think twice.

Might find a buyer at hardcore Pawn shop.

This team is just going to lay over and take an @ss beating. No heart. Absolutely nothing to like about this team.
