So the referees last night.

What year did they graduate from Purdue? Or how much money did they have on Miami?

Only 2 questions worth looking into.

What were your big complaints?

I have seen this on a couple of sites.

The one RPO fake that Mendoza barely carried out and was drilled, I wasn't very happy about. I thought it was overall pretty fair, though.

There were a couple of late hits on Mendoza.  One on Omar Cooper Jr.  a bunch of blatant holds.

For me the the egregious BS was giving Beck the roughing the passer on the final drive. Call it both ways

You’ll never talk me out of a ESPN/SEC vs big ten conspiracy theory after last nights officiating.  Never!

Even ESPN shill Herbstreit made a couple comments.

The day after commentary from opposing fanbases is hilarious. Yet again saying IU won't be good next year, 4 losses minimum, etc. Finding ways to comfort themselves by diminishing this team / program instead of confronting reality... that we are here to stay. You'd think they'd have learned a lesson after saying that last year. I mean, I'm budgeting for next year's playoffs starting now.

I don’t pay that much attention to it but Oregon and very surprisingly OSU fans have been pretty cool online fron what I’ve seen. But UM and OSU fans in particular are about to get big mad and jealous. They’ll be annoying

It's human nature, I suppose. There is a long way to go & lots unknown, etc, but right now next season looks liks a 4 game schedue: O$U & USC at home, @ Michigan & Washington. None are impossible and right now, 3-1 seems likely.

I just noticed something.  The CFP logo says 2026 but the hats and shirts the team is wearing all say 2025.  Anyone else notice this?

Its been that way every year of the CFP's existence. The jersey patches say the year the final is played and all the champ gear is for the season.

This 1,000,000%.

The targeting hit on Mendoza was a definite miss.

Other than that? Of course there were missed calls that were to IU's detriment. And if you were watching the game with U Miami eyes there were missed calls that were to Miami's detriment. The game is so fast and there is so much happenning on every play.

The refs were just fine.

They think that hurts me? lololol... I've had season tickets since 1998.... 36-6 over 3 years is a DREAM.

You sir, have an exceptionally high pain tolerance....bordering on mental illness!

I am so, So SO happy for fans like you. Soak this in, you richly deserve it, and I mean it sincerely. Longtime IU football fans should have this season injected right into their veins.
