Checked out one Miami football fan forum.  All those fans did was boast and beat their chests.  No real insight.

The main point is they think their team works hard, is violent and entitled.

Flexing muscles between their ears and virulent...maybe.

Step on em...Indiana by 24 points.

The nervous energy of a day like today is the worst because it's so hard to manage. This weekend, I managed by forcing my daughter to endure a Mighty Ducks marathon (though only like 1/3 into D3). Despite the Ducks using Oregon's name and the colors and mascot being much much closer to Miami's (until D3 ironically), all season it has felt like we are living in a 90s sports movie and never more than now.

It's honestly glaring. The team of misfits who are perennial losers until they get a new coach who unlocks their potential. A successful first season followed by a second-season where, with the help of a few transfers (including a kid from Miami named Mendoza) they become world-beaters. A final game against a team who is bigger, faster, stronger, has more facial hair. A team aiming to use their size to physically hurt players to weaken our heroes. A team made up of ******* ***** *** **** **** who ****************************** **** and are proud of it. Like, how well does Miami slot into the position of a villain? It's uncanny.

That also makes me anxious because it raises a whole question of whether these storybook cinematic endings are pure fantasy or can really happen. With the world what the world is, it's hard to believe in any ending where the good guys win. Reality always seems to crush them in the end.

I feel like that's part of why so many people have united behind us and in support of us too. Everyone wants the Little Giants to beat the Little Cowboys. Will they? Or does that only happen in movies?

The cinematic endings do sometimes happen. Unfortunately the reason they make good stories is because they don't happen often.

IU Victory vs. Miami:

Win over Miami on Miami’s home field.

Only football program in history to go 16-0.

IU winning over toughest schedule that was presented to them game by game.

Arguably, the best football team in college football history.

Not arguably the best turn around in all of major sports history.

IU is the only college to have both, undefeated seasons in football and basketball.

I just read the doors open at 6:30.  That seems late for the type of crowd they are expecting tonight and with the added security.

The guys on the McAfee show just mentioned how thoroughly they were checked/searched when entering the stadium and Pat said people should arrive very, very early.

Can’t believe they are not opening until 6:30. It was 5:30 in Atlanta.

For anyone still making their way here:

Never seen anything like the security situation here. Not in a negative way, just a bit confusing. There are 3 massive checkpoints to get through and, I believe, after the 3rd (where TSA is posted up) you’re all the way in. Not much guidance or signage on that, but it seems like that’s the case anyway.

When you say in are you meaning in the stadium or just to the stadium doors?

It’s a very blurred line lol. The only thing separating me from the escalators that go to the seating bowl is a little white fence with no security.

Online it says doors don't open until 6:30, which seems crazy to me.  How is the fan support looking around the stadium right now.

Yeah that’s wrong. Doors at 4:30. It’s a pretty even split. These Cubans know how to friggin’ tailgate.

Every single thing I saw or heard until the post here less than an hour ago also said 4:30.
