I got offered tickets through IU at $3000 upper bowl and $6000 lower bowl.  But I have to combine it with a $4000 hotel.  I'll buy them, who wants to buy them up me for a slight 30% markup?

Supposed to get charged today. I'm hoping since they already know which general area that we're in, that we get seat assignments at least today and then tickets are available to download the 15th.

I wouldn't get your hopes up haha.

Doesn’t really matter. I’m just antsy. It will probably turn Thursday/Friday into a mad scramble for people selling though.

I can't find the exact quote but it was from one of the head coaches we beat this season.  In essence, we find the opposing teams weakness and we make them do it all game long.

From Google Gemini:

That quote is attributed to the current Indiana University football coach, Curt Cignetti.

Why this quote is associated with him:

The Blueprint: Cignetti is famous for his "blueprint" of finding a specific weakness in an opposing team—whether it’s a personnel mismatch on the perimeter or a lack of depth on the lines—and attacking it repeatedly until the opponent's "will is broken."

The Illinois Example: After Indiana’s 63–10 win over Illinois in 2025, opposing coach Bret Bielema noted that Cignetti’s staff "traditionally... take advantage of what you give them as good as anybody," and Cignetti himself remarked that once they found a mismatch on the perimeter, they "just pounded them."

There's a lot of people rooting for the Hoosiers, and a lot of hate for Miami around these parts (Phoenix metro), at least anecdotally. While wearing my IU gear, people are always commenting about how much they like "that coach" and "that QB"...

That does this fan's heart good.

Yep I gotta think a map of the US pulling for us will be almost all red.  It’s an amazing feeling.

That is super ,where I am I wear my Indiana shirts and my Big Ten Championship  one ,but nobody seems to notice .So I guess they are not paying attention .One lady who works at the grocery store at the check out ,is the only one who has noticed but she is originally from Illinois .Live currently in the ACC territory  where basketball is king so maybe that is why .

Spent a short time reading some comments on the Miami U forum.  Seeing all of the typical comments Hoosier fans have been reading from the arrogant "blue blood" programs: OSU, Alabama, and now Miami.  I've copied a few of my favorites and you will notice they resemble what IU fans have heard all season long.  (My favorite is the last one; "Mendoza is a one-read guy; rarely has to go through his progressions", hahaha, no clue.)  Here's believing the results of the game match those of all the other arrogant posters who thought their team was going to be "the one" unlike any IU has played before.

Indiana only plays 13 players on defense. Wear them out.

We play a similar style game to Indiana but we just have better athletes. They're bullying Oregon on both LOS, they won't be able to do that to us. They have not played trenches like ours.

I was really nervous for our last three games but im not nervous at all about Indiana. I think we handle them easily

The Ole Miss O is superior to Indiana's.

Mendoza rarely has to go through progressions, it's not even a thing in the IU system. He's a one read guy.

I have seen a lot of Canes discounting us because of our history and a simple comparison of size or talent by position. Also, more than a few who have only seen us play in the Peach Bowl and maybe the Rose.

It's funny because you can tell people really struggle with how far above our talent-on-paper level we play.  "All we have to do is stop the run and force Mendoza to pass 30+ times." As if no one has thought of that before. "They don't have a chance of stopping our size on the D-line."  Oh, right, I forgot no other teams have big players.

Maybe it says more about me than them, but how does anyone think like that? How do you casually say Miami will easily win by double-digits even if you haven't seen a minute of Indiana football? Do you really think no other team has tried or that you have a completely unique blueprint they have never seen before? You can watch the OSU, Penn State, and Iowa tape and find things we have struggled with, but you can't call any of them a blueprint for beating us because no one has cracked that nut yet.

I think it's totally possible for Miami to beat Indiana. I've thought the same thing about Oregon twice, OSU, Penn State, and Iowa, but the team and coaching staff have proved themselves up to the challenge every time. Anyone who approaches a championship game like it's already in the bag has never seen a championship game before.

IU defense pursuit to the ball, physical 50/50balls, getting 2 turnovers, running game-passing game combinations, catch me if you can = IU covers the point spread by a lot.

Betting opened @ +7.5 IU has moved

Jan 12 to +8.5.

These folks talking about Penn State and Ohio State as proof we can be stopped.

We are averaging just shy of 52 points in games where our Big 3 all got a catch.

Illinois and Maryland were blowouts that got excluded from this formula as well.

Only Old Dominion kept us under 38 points.  And I think that had more to do with it being week 1

Can't argue with you. You've been, shockingly, spot on every damn step of the way. Kinda weirding me out if I'm being honest.

The Rose Bowl and Peach bowl are the only 2 games where our entire offense was completely healthy and we were incorporating Becker

All 3 played and had catches against Purdue as well.  After Beckers emergence.  And all 3 had catches against UCLA in the early stages

If you remove the non conference schedule average stays right around the same at 51.5

We have scored 56 points 3 out of 4 games in that situation.

Obviously, this indicates that TTT is cheating.  LOL
