Good lord that defense.

The returnees at DT, safety, CB, and LB are extraordinary. The additions are also extraordinary.

I pity the fools trying to score against Haines' boys next season.

Walk on from Westfield that was one of 4 WO’s to be kept during the coaching change.  Believe he is graduating in the spring so has a chance to get a post grad degree and play more somewhere else.

Saw his Dad at a Peach Bowl pre game party and he said Jack told him they had a bad walk thru but said they would win by 2 TD’s or more.  Felt pretty good after I heard that, lol.

Hearing Cig is giving him a full offer for final year so he is coming out of the portal and staying.
Won’t really be impactful on the field, if at all, but cool to keep him from a leadership and culture aspect.

With as much roster turnover as we're going to have heading into next season, keeping guys like this around should really help set the tone for new joiners.

I feel like we have a great base for next year to help with the culture and leadership but it's always nice to have guys like this around to solidify what the staff is wanting to accomplish.

We absolutely wipe the floor with Miami if we have one of Wyatt or Daley. Other than the Fletcher TD, every single one of the offensive plays that kept them in the game were because we couldn't get to Beck.

It seems like at some point the coaching staff just leaned into the idea that we weren't going to get to the QB and just started dropping everyone into coverage. Lot of plays where he had all day to throw and still couldn't find anyone open.

Really eager to see which returnees are ready to step into bigger roles next year. The portal is great but the way this staff develops kids I'm especially looking at last year's freshmen class to see if there are any breakout candidates.

Obviously Becker, Ajani, and Ndukwe are in for bigger roles but I'm interested to see what happens in the TE room and with the young guys in the D-Line room.

Yep, and credit to their pass pro big time. I don't know that the DL as a whole had been that ineffective all year.

Almost 5:00 pm on Friday and still no additional portal entries.

There's gotta be more, but so far this is astounding.

Even if they enter, paperwork has to be processed so we may not hear anything until after the weekend. Hoping to go unscathed too much.
Also really haven’t heard of many additions or portal guys coming in. Still think we have some holes to fill. Sucks the spring portal is no more.

We are gonna miss Nowakowski quite a bit. TE is an interesting spot.  I’m rooting hard for Schott, but man, not sure that is fair to the kid for him to live up to Nowakowski. So much youth at TE.  Feel good about most other spots.  Backup QB might be a worry too. LB?
