Dude says that Cig is not in Kirby Smart or Ryan Day’s league, but I doubt even they could’ve done what Cig has done in his first 1.5 years at IU. I think I’d take him over every single other coach in the country all other things equal.

He is right because he is way above those two as coaches. It is easy to win at OSU and Georgia with all of those 5 star players. It takes a great coach to take less talented teams and compete for championships

The last 1.5 years have been virtually a football miracle. The last data point is taking seven 4 star players to Oregon and beating their fifty eight !! 4/5 star guys. I’ve never seen anything like this in college football.

EDIT: and not to mention that Smart and Day also have 50+ 4/5 stars, and a slew of NFL guys, to help them win. Cigs accomplishment is in a different league.
