DeVries was at the bottom of the barrel for me. I am a I U fan and will pull for his success. Will gladly eat crow if he does extremely well. I do think he might make the tournament the majority of the time. But let’s see if he competes for Big Ten titles and regular high seeds in the tournament. I want to be a blue blood again. I just don’t see him getting us there.

Plus 30 for the new guy…will be interested to see what the buyout situation is there? Could be quite the gamble when all is said and done.

Not sure you're reading it correctly.  I think it's intended to mean $7M in NIL and then additional $ from revenue share.

That’s pretty big time if true. There’s boosters on board with this if those numbers are legit. Those numbers also mean this didn’t happen after WVU got left out Sunday. Dolson had this in motion at the very least and this was his guy. I’d imagine Iowa was never a real player until they found out they weren’t. 
 

Also, we need a complain about the hire thread for those so inclined. No judgment from me for those that want to complain, but GD the program has been negative for long enough. Let him give us a reason to be negative. This isn’t remotely similar to the Woody hiring.
