Guys, we got ourselves a solid coach. He's going to win a lot of games...and FINALLY, we seem to have someone normal LOL. 

Also, I wouldn't object to CDD cleaning house. Maybe keep Goode, Rice and Mgbako (if he can teach him how to play defense)...other than that, lets get some players that know how to WIN!

We are hearing from non-IU sources that Dolson has been in communication with DeVries for weeks, if not since the Battle for Atlantis. That strikes me as much more credible than the idea that Brad was in the bag until Sunday. 

I don't see how anyone at this point wouldn't be questioning their sources re Brad, after the way the last two searches turned out. Whatever info people were getting clearly wasn't reliable.

Well at least something good came out of Atlantis.  :)

Small-time Archie backed his way into this job, preferred OSU. DDv was in discussion for it for months and jumped at the chance despite being at a P5 gig for just a year.

I remember pretty clearly, and consistently you would say that the chances of getting Stevens were way less than 50%, maybe even as low as 20%.  I kept thinking come on bump that up some.

What people fail to understand is that people with inside information can only give you their interpretation of the status up to that point.  I used to run the mile, was above average but not awesome, and in the city championships (indy) I was going into lap 4 when my good friend yells at me from the side of the track, "you are right behind kk".  KK was our best runner and would eventually come in 1st or 2nd for the city every year.  To that point i had been head down trucking along probably thinking of some girl and had not given the race a ton of thought.  When my friend told me this I look up and in front of me was this kid from Cathedral that was really good and sure enough KK.  The 3 of us leading the pack going into the final lap.  Now, if there were city mile insiders reporting back, they would have accurately said 8bucks was in contention for the championship.  If it only ended there, unfortunately my mind started asking why I was running so close to KK and amazing you aren't tired.  Oh wait, is that tired I feel?  I did not win...

There did seem to be a lot of smoke this time around.  From many others and there seemed to be a time when our #1 big fish went away and we successfully pivoted to a second big fish.  No idea if that was the case as reading the clues were not my strong point.   So it did feel as if a big fish were likely but it seemed so many were hung up on the idea that if we dont get him all the info shared was false.  There is a process to the story and I tend to think you guys had some information up to the end but the end went a different way.

I was there in person for that. They opened it up to fans that year. Looking back it's obvious he had no clue what he was getting himself into.
