I believe in one of the Zeller years we played @Wiscy and they shot over 35 FT's to our 10-15 FTs. Of course, they narrowly escaped with a W Didn't Hayes shoot like 21 FT's??? Sheesh! If I heard right, doesn't UW play 2 big men? If that's the case the starting lineup is written in the stars. Quote

Parakeet Jones Posted February 4 Posted February 4 If we lose tonight, I doubt FT discrepancies are the leading reason. Quote
Hornsby Posted February 4 Posted February 4 If we lose tonight, I doubt FT discrepancies are the leading reason. No but they are almost all of them so numbers could matter.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Everyone is so very negative. I think that IU will keep the loss under double digits. And it is not on major national broadcast channel. That plus the nail in the coffin thingy. How is that about being very positive? (But feel bad for the players that truly want to and try to win. Ditto for us fans. But keep your hopes up. Help is on the way. ) Quote
coonhounds Posted February 4 Posted February 4 The smart money is on the hoosiers tonight imo. After 2 agonizing let downs. Games we had won but snatched defeat from the jaws of victory! It only makes sense that woody snaps the losing streak at the call center imo. Then woody is a hero till we get curb stomped in our next game by 20. HoosierHoopster Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I have absolutely no idea what to expect. And that seems to be the norm now for this team, for me. Fight PU tough, within scratching distance of a W on the road, but play without focus and heart in others. We never win at Wisconsin, and this is a Wisc team that shoots the three well and is solid all around, we'll lose, but by how much? No idea. Could be a hard fought loss, could be a complete blowout. Who knows with this CMW coached team. Such a waste of talent. tkbbn and Home Jersey 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I think we get drilled. We got up for the last game because it was a rivalry game...nothing significant about this one. I expect an emotional letdown that could get out of hand quickly if we let it. Home Jersey, Hornsby, Pagoda and 2 others 5 Quote

AKHoosier Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Yeah you guys are bringing me back to that Nigel Hayes game. Truly dreadful Wisconsin basketball at its finest, you literally couldn't find a better example of the Wisconsin experience if you tried. Every time down the court would result in a whistle and Hayes to the FT line. I got so disgusted and frustrated I eventually just turned it off before it was over and said yeah we're not winning this game. It's not worth the stress. mamasa 1 Quote
