Didn't see a game thread (folks are awfully busy showing Woody their support -- LOL) so figured I'd try to get us over the hump for our final game of the year. Our record against the Eagles? 0-0. This is our first meeting. 

Former Hoosier big man Logan Duncomb returns, though he hasn't been getting much run -- has played in just six games and scored just 13 points. Winthrop (10-4) is coached by Mark Prosser -- Skip's boy. We're 9-3 and after this, it's all B1G all the time.

Logan was banged up late in the preseason, missing a public preseason scrimmage and the season opener.  He then played in a few games after that but then got shut down because he apparently was not healthy yet.  He made his return last week after missing 7 straight games...wouldn't expect to see him play much tomorrow, though his size could be helpful, so I think he'll see a little action.

Appreciate the insight and welcome to our little corner of the world. Once you get past our bitterness these days we’re ok to hang out with every now and then.

Thanks for the info.  Do you live near Rock Hill?  When I retire a few years down the road, we will be relocating around the Greenville SC area.

I will be in attendance today. Taking my 77 year old grandpa. He hasn’t been back to Bloomington or to an IU game since the 76 championship. He’s pretty excited, I got us tickets right under the basket. I know this year hasn’t been ideal, but I’m excited for this game and time spent with my grandpa.

They have no one on the team that averages more than 14.9. They are 7-4 against D1 opponents. Lost to Virginia Tech by just 6 but to Louisville by 15 and Florida State by 18. I'm sure some random kid will go off for 20, they'll hit at least one heave at the end of a shot clock, they'll keep it close for longer than they should and Indiana will win. We will still continue wondering how this team is so bad and why Woodson is allowed on campus.

I was also there last week missing students on campus and not as full with it being a noon game.

I think they have four guys averaging double figures. Lots of mid-size guys but no real size underneath. Ballo and Malik should feast and if they don’t or don’t pass well out of invariable double teams we could have problems with them.

So Winthrop lost at Louisville by 15 and we lost to the Ville by 28 on a neutral court?  LOL

I feel like we've said Malik and Ballo should dominate in almost every game.

We've seen Woody play more and more without two bigs on the floor at the same time.  We've also seen that we still don't hit outside shots.

Sadly, two bigs on the floor at the same time has produced the best results for IU but that style of play has such a low ceiling.  Until we have a modern offense run by someone who knows how to coach it, we aren't destined for anything.
