Congrats on your age? Lol. “Why would X come to IU” is your response to basically every single coach and/or player proposed on here. Believe it or not, some people think IU is a nice place to play/coach basketball.

Oh the great divide, it will be there until us old folks are in the dirt. I'm not sure what the line is, probably 50yo. I would love to live long enough to see IU have another 1971-94 experience and be able to have good-hearted banter about the 2 eras.

I'm sure your side has been sick of "how great it was then" for a long time. Unfortunately, we have had to live through this comedy of errors during a time when younger fans just want to be fans of their school. I hope your time is starting now, I look forward to the debates if so. Try not to be disrespectful sh7ts. I'll try not to be an old condescending fk.

To be honest I don’t really understand this response in the context of the post of mine that you quoted, but go Hoosiers!

Yes, I have been a fan a lot longer than you have been alive. I just don't know why players would follow an assistant coach.

If the coach has built a relationship with the player via in-home visits, texts, calls, recruiting... I can see it making some sense...

When he's raining down threes on us next season, maybe you'll change your opinion...sometimes you overpay for good talent...
So if we overpay for 1, how many very good rotation pieces are we going to get. I could see overpaying for an All American, but not someone like Dix.

This year I’d be happy with 7-8 players in the rotation and then fill in with base revenue sharing. Could get a couple $2 mil players, 6 $1 mil level players and then “league minimum” the rest of the roster. Yeah it will be thin if there are injuries. But it could also be very good.

According to Louisville’s premium site Conwells father side of the family is from the  Louisville area and it’s like a second home.   Kelsey reached out last year when he got the job but it was a little too late.   He was the first to contact him when he put his name in the portal and thought it was a perfect fit this time around with what they did last year and how his game translate to them playing 5 out.

And that's the rest of the story.

A burner account on Twitter who got the freeman recruiting right and a couple college coaches right says his same source is saying Dix to IU but others are saying Illinois is getting Dix. I feel like it won’t be IU with him leaving campus without committing
