Because money is a baseline 'something', but lots of schools have money and therefore money isn't everything!

Thanks very much for sharing Chris. I love how you bring info, but qualify it with a dose of reality. Because it's my impression that there are rarely absolute certainties and I enjoy the hell out of real information, not telling people what they want to hear and pretending it's certain.

Gonna be July and we are still getting our shooter who isn't in the portal yet :)

As you and many have said, for each key piece we add it becomes progressively more difficult to fill with another quality piece because it's harder and harder for top players to envision a key role.

Therefore, it seems to me that the most attainable quality piece would currently be a stretch big, or for that matter any big. We still have an easily envisioned role for a player that has those skills.

It's been mentioned on 247 for some time that there are a couple of players with mutual interest that have yet to enter the portal and patience is a virtue in this instance.

EDIT:  what Tyme indicated was that to those that had DM'd him about a certain player that wasn't in the portal that he was award of those rumors;  he also indicated there was a player that would be an 'easy get' if/when they entered the portal as in the player was on board with committing to IU if they entered the portal.  I don't know if he was talking about the same player or if this is two separate.

Personally, I don't know what player that is in reference to that is an easy get.

I think that *was* a rumor but according to the person who started talking about the mystery person it was not about Goode.

I’m sure that’s right. The Max Bielfeldt’s and Anthony Walker’s of the world, experienced guys willing to take undefined roles that could be very small, are tough pulls.
