Popular Post tyappleg Posted May 2 Popular Post Posted May 2 Guys, this is all a moot point. Danny Hurley is going to take the newly open Spurs job, and then Mullins decommits and he takes the spot currently open for Leal. (I could see Brad Stevens jump back into coaching for the Spurs). DSUMMITT Posted May 2 Posted May 2 May have been mentioned but earlier in the week some precedence for Goode getting another year: Justice Ajogbor played in six games at the end of Harvard’s 2021-22 season. Those were the only six games he played that year. He requested a waiver in connection with that season and it was approved despite him playing in the back half. Ajogbor doesn’t seem to have any other unique circumstances related to his request. He played in 28, 20 and 35 games the next three seasons. Home Jersey 1 Quote
Popular Post RaceToTheTop Posted May 2 Popular Post Posted May 2 Torvik projection: without Harris on the roster (a glitch in the program, have him removed from the transfer portal but not on IU's roster), IU's roster is currently ranked 38th. Add Goode and Leal (but not Harris since the system won't put him in), and IU climbs to 24th. Simply put, the roster rankings from 20-40 are really close. lillurk, skhoosier2, BtownStrength and 6 others 8 1 Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted May 3 Posted May 3 If the guards get the ball into the offense early and we have a halfway decent defense, then this will be a fun year. Wondering about the non-P5 players and shooters and that translating into competing for the top of the B1G. Reflecting on some guard imports last season from the left coast. Not knowing, yet, what to make of CDD and his staff and almost all of the players all being new to each other and to him causes me pause...and lots of hope for the future. Yeah, we all know these new players are all smart IQ ballers that are gym rats and hungry to practice and perform well. And we know that CDD is experienced and successful building a competitive team in other places. Right? (Winning the offseason is where we have been for years.) We all live in interesting times. Juwan Moye Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Given the variability in the off-season it seems like the range of potential outcomes this year is pretty broad with the median outcome being somewhere around where the projections like Torvik have us. Quote
