What i find hilarious though,  is people telling posters they can't post their opinions if it is something they disagree with, while posting their opinions. Any opinion posted in this thread that goes against the group think, both poster and post get attacked.

. I disagree wholeheartedly with AH about Will Wade and a lot of other things he has posted about. He has the right to give his opi ion as anyone. Kathy gets attacked because because she said nothing will officially begin until the end of the season. It isn't what the group think believes so attack her. Personally the process should have officially started last year.

In the end, we should allow all opinions without the attacks either way.  But then again, that is the way this Country has been as a whole the last 20 years, so no surprise.

Cashy talks down to everyone, that's why she's not popular here. Plenty of people have posted similar things to her with a much more casual but respectful tone. She/he is not the only person with possible inside information that can talk in extremely general terms to sound correct.

Beard is out because he is too toxic per some on this board. So the choices are stevens or woodsoon for a 5th year? Do we know if stevens ever had a speeding ticket? That would disqualify him without a doubt. And if he drinks that another massive strike.

I'm out on the mid-season firing, though warranted. From a PR perspective & out of respect for Woodson, he needs to be forced to announce retirement before Sunday. As awful as he's been he's still a Hoosier great who does not deserve what's coming for him Sunday. The only way to avoid it or tamper the crowd is through announced retirement. Do the right thing IU

Wade has a Sweet 16, so it's not like he's never had any March success. And he comes with considerably less baggage.
I get why some would view Beard as a better coach, but if he's a non-starter, then I don't get why there's not more enthusiasm for Wade in the non-Stevens category. He strikes me as a better bet than McCollum, for instance.

Beard is toxic i am told.. So is pitino Jr because he is related to Rick. We are pure as the driven snow at iu.

People respond in kind, most of the time. All for sharing opinions and talking about disagreements - that doesn’t have to be a combative thing. Shouldn’t be when it comes to basketball on a message board lol. IMO people aren’t taking issue with the difference of opinion but the framing of the opinions and harsh tone it’s delivered in. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Pretty clear to me which posters are open to a nuanced discussion vs. feel a need to be inflexible about their views and antagonize. I don’t blame people for responding to that. Couldn’t agree more with your last sentence.

I want Woodson in til the bitter end hearing the boos. He created this mess and he should not get the easy way out.
